Today we have Get Off My Lawn. It's a simple little game where you're a blob and you're trying to keep other blobs from trespassing on your lawn. Why? My assumption is that you're a cartoon version of a crotchety old man or a redneck. The tool you're going to be using is a lawnmower to grind up anybody who dares to even try. You can also upgrade your mower to make it faster and more lethal.

It's not always the easiest getting fruit to fall where you want it.
It's a terrible day outside for those of us who live in the Northeast. Some of us got snow, but for some reason I was blessed with freezing rain, because fuck me right? Therefore to keep everybody from wanting to kill themselves I'm presenting a very simple game that doesn't require a lot of effort. In Tumble Fruit, you have to feed the animals by dropping fruit to them. There are obstacles in your way though, so feeding them isn't always the easiest task. The game isn't too hard or too easy, so everybody should be able to enjoy this one.

Getting to that spot was a lot harder than it may seem.
If there is a type of game that will always hold the attention of the masses who are bored at work, it will be a mini-putt game. Wonderputt is an 18-hole mini-golf course that is one of the better ones I've played. It might simply be because of the art direction and the cool course structure, but this will keep your attention for a good while.

We've featured Sushi Cat on Lost My Way before, but for those of you that weren't reading our site back then, now there is Sushi Cat 2. The game is simple enough, you just drop a cat and hope that he eats all of the sushi on his way down. A little thinking and minimal skill is involved, leaving your attention wide open to enjoy the art and ridiculousness of the game. One of my favorites and will most likely be one of yours as well.

This game is as ridiculous as it is fun.
If there's a game that looks like it might be ridiculous I can't help myself but play it. The moment I saw Catnarok 2: Longcat Rampage I had to jump right in, and I'm thoroughly glad that I did. There's nothing better than to be a giant cat on a rampage with the abilities to shoot fireballs, lasers, and other shit from your eyes. As you kill more and more enemies, you can upgrade your cat as well to help with your never ending destruction. Not to mention things like ROFL copters, goodies from the interwebs, and kamikaze pilots; if you're a member of the internet you'll find this game hilarious.

Even on tougher levels you can create great combos.
You're going to be using your mind a little bit for this Game of the Day. In BlockX the goal is to match up colors in an 8x8 grid to get through the levels. It starts out with only four colors but gets harder from there. As you make matches, you also can fill your paint inventory to use whenever you want. Your paint inventory can be used to change the colors of each square to make bigger connections. I didn't realize how it worked exactly when I started and was using it to make giant combinations. Looking back, using it to get myself out of jams may have been a better idea. Whichever way you use it, the goal is to simply get through each level.

Seems like a calm, relaxing game, right up until a plane flies through and takes out your entire flock.
Sometimes you need a relaxing game to end the day with and that is not what Endless Migration is. I thought it would be when I started playing but the moment a jet flew through and killed my entire flock I immediately realized it wasn't. The point of the game is simply to grow your flock by collecting other geese, at which point they'll form a "v" and follow behind you. You also have to avoid things like airplanes and storms, because in this game everything flies at exactly the same altitude. A fun game that won't require you to click like a maniac and piss off everybody around you either.

Puny Humans Must Die
It's like a childhood dream come true.
If you've been waiting for an opportunity to play Space Invaders from the invaders' point of view (like I have), you don't have to wait any longer. In Puny Humans Must Die the object of the game is to destroy all of the buildings in each level with the different invaders you have to choose from. Some shoot from a distance, some are bombers, and some kamikaze straight into the ground; as long as you can annihilate everything, you win. It becomes more difficult once you get further into the game and things start shooting back at you, but this was a blast to play.

Eternal Space
The paddle can be a little weird at times, but helps when there's a lot going on.
Breakout has always been one of my favorite games so I'm glad that I could find a game that simulates it. Eternal Space plays very much like Breakout, with some different powerups and paddle, but you shouldn't have any trouble jumping right into it. There are only six levels so this won't hold your attention forever, although it should keep you occupied for a little while. The only problem I encountered playing the game is if your mouse leaves the playing area; then you can't control the paddle, so just keep an eye on that.

Pick & Dig Episode 3
You have to use your head to get to certain objects.
Pick & Dig Episode 3 is a platformer/puzzle game. At first when I started I was very confused about what I was doing, but as I played through it, it became easier to understand. Not all of the instructions are given to you right when you start, so once you learn how to do new things you have to backtrack through previous levels. I'm glad I didn't give up on the game right away because it's actually a lot of fun. To help you out a little bit, you can press "1" to use a ladder, "2" to use a shovel, and "3" to use a pick. Also if there isn't a wall at the edge of the screen, odds are there's more areas to explore. Had somebody explained that to me I would have been much better off.
