Title: Nick Furry and the Animalvengers
By: Ry-Spirit

If you've ever ventured out into the brave world of the internet (which you obviously have, otherwise you wouldn't be reading this), something you may have immediately noticed was how many adorable animals there seem to be in the world. It's as if the internet wouldn't be able to function properly without pictures of kittens and puppies everywhere. Therefore I'm just trying to help the world go 'round with this piece. Everybody loves The Avengers and everybody loves cute animals; so why not combine the two? In all seriousness I like this piece not just because it combines two of my favorite things, the work itself is well done. It looks like something I would expect from a comic and makes me feel warm inside.

Title: Rise - Night Version
By: yuumei

This is a really cool piece that illustrates the heart of protesters who stand up to riot police. The artist created it after a peaceful protest in which 20 to 30 protesters were met by an army of riot police. The piece itself has a very anime feel to it and perfectly illustrates what happens during a lot of protests. Although it doesn't really illustrate the protests where there are masses of people, putting the riot police in harm's way.

Title: Stargaze
By: CallieFink

The moment I saw this piece I knew that others had to see it as well. Such a psychedelic and creative work of art, a style that I haven't seen in a long time. The colors in it are bold and well used, creating a sort of anarchy throughout while keeping it interesting through a clever use of change in patterns. This is a piece that I'm seriously contemplating ordering in a print.

Title: Mandira
By: JonasDeRo

This is a really cool piece of digital art that I happened upon this morning. Normally I go for the sci-fi pieces, but for some reason this one called to me. Even though this is a fictional place, the light and atmosphere in the town makes it really feel alive. The artist said that they wanted to combine their "fantasy style with some more urban stuff" and I think that they pulled it off perfectly.

Title: Pakde Tony Stark Work In Progress
By: A-D-I--N-U-G-R-O-H-O

With all that there is in digital art it's nice to see some hand drawings from time to time, and this piece of Tony Stark is amazing. Even though it's not yet finished, the attention to detail is staggering. I would love to see this when it's finished because at the moment it's one of the best pieces I've seen in a while.

Title: Cup of autumn
By: lieveheersbeestje

With winter knocking on our doorstep, we didn't really have all that much time for Autumn, especially in the Northeast. I'm not really sure how, but for some reason this picture sums up Autumn perfectly. Maybe it's the leaves, the cup, or even the face on the cup; all I know is that for some reason this is the perfect picture for it, and that's what makes it so great.

Title: Smokey
By: NaBHaN

I had a tough choice for today between a cool piece of fractal art and this, and I clearly had to go with this. It's so simple but it made me laugh and that's the important part. The artwork is clean while being very simple, but that doesn't mean it's not a great piece. This on a t-shirt would be pure gold.

Title: My dear, don't be afraid of me
By: Hellobaby

This piece is a great drawing with stark contrast in color. While one character is only red and the other only blue, there are many different shades for both making it much more dynamic. The drawing itself is captivating as you can clearly make out the top half of the two but the bottom melds together. This is supposed to depict the God of Fire in love with the Queen of Ice and I like the way it was drawn out.

Title: Cityscape (Director's Cut)
By: Cryptcrawler

I happened across this piece today which is a teaser for an unnamed table-top RPG. I don't really have any information for it other than that, but the artwork captivated me nonetheless. While a lot of attention to detail has been paid to the three officers in the foreground, it's the detail in the background that I was fascinated with. Neon-lit signs, wires hanging down between the buildings, and the way light passes through the alley. Everything comes together in the picture to create something special, a piece of artwork that you would expect from professionals.

Title: Prometheus
By: ErikShoemaker

There are some pieces of art that are good, others that are even great, and then there are some that completely take you to another world. In this piece a lot of attention is paid to detail, creating a world that could only be thought up in somebody's imagination. I'm not nearly talented enough to take the things I see in my mind and create a visual with them, but this is exactly what that is. From the dense clouds that seem to form a canyon to the planet and moon on the horizon, every aspect of this is fantastic.
