At least with a big belly you have extra room for beer.
I don't think it's a surprise to anybody that fat people are the brunt of 80 percent of the jokes in the world, which may prompt them to lose some weight and join everybody else who isn't under constant ridicule. A study by the University of Hawaii found that there's a greater bias against those who have lost weight over those who kept their weight stable. Researchers asked participants how attractive a woman was and also mentioned whether or not the woman had lost weight or was always thin. If the woman had lost weight she was viewed as less attractive than a woman who stayed thin her whole life.

This makes me feel bad because I consistently make fun of fat people telling them they should lose weight. "Lose weight" I would say, "people will like you better" I would shout. Turns out that if everybody knows you were fat at one time they're going to think less of you anyway. If you look at it that way then fuck it, just stay fat. At least then you can eat whatever you want and people won't judge you because you used to be fat, you'll still be fat. Then you'll just be everybody's fat friend, and if you're funny then you're jolly. Better than those thin bitches talking behind your back about how you used to have cankles.

TL;DR Once you're fat you'll always be fat to everybody else.
