The Oklahoma City Thunder and Miami Heat battled it out in Game 4 Tuesday Night. The Thunder trying to even out the series to 2-2 and the Heat trying to stretch their lead to 3-1, a lead that no team has overcome in the NBA Finals. Unfortunately for the Thunder, along with Russell Westbrook who put up a stellar 43 points, the Heat pulled ahead to take the victory 104-98.
Lebron James had to deal with leg cramps near the end of the game but was able to hold on to push the Heat into the lead and hold it there. James had a team high 26 points with the help of Mario Chalmers with 25 points. To help Westbrook and the Thunder was Kevin Durant who added another 28 points to the team score as James Harden didn't help his team as much as was needed finishing with eight points.
Game 5 will be Thursday night at 9 p.m., so for those of you on the east coast good luck watching that game. The bad news for the Thunder is that no team has ever come back from a 3-1 deficit in the Finals, so they're going to need to fight with everything they have to walk away with a championship. That will be against James who has been searching for a championship for the past nine years and the rest of the Miami Heat who can see the finish line from where they're standing. It should be a good game but I expect that the Heat will walk away from these Finals victorious.
TL;DR The Miami Heat stretch their series lead to 3-1 after holding off the Thunder in Game 4.
