I wasn't aware that there were any door-to-door salesmen left in the world but apparently they have them down South. 30-year-old Nicholas Rainey was going door-to-door in Cape Coral, Fla. when he came up to the house of 52-year-old Kenneth Bailey Roop. Rainey knocked twice but nobody was home, so he started to walk down the driveway. That's when Roop showed up in his pickup truck and asked Rainey what he was doing. Rainey told him, which is when Roop pulled out a handgun and shot Rainey, then shot him again in the back of the head while he was on the ground. When Roop was arrested he told officers "he stepped on my property, he trespassed, I'll kill anybody that steps on my property."

This seems par for the course when it comes to anything in Florida. All it takes is for you to go visit The Sunshine State once and you'll realize that everybody there is completely insane. There's no way you could get me to be a door-to-door salesman down there, every other house you went to you would encounter somebody who's batshit crazy. I think that we should wall it off and give it to Cuba to keep any of them from spreading to the rest of the country.

TL;DR A man shot and killed a door-to-door salesman because he didn't like anybody stepping on his property.
