An Indiana mayor recently received a parking ticket for parking his yellow Corvette partially in a no yellow-curbed zone outside the City Building, so he paid his fine and then did what any other person would do if they were mayor of a town. Logansport Mayor Ted Franklin decided that he didn't want to receive any more tickets, so he created a giant parking spot just for himself. He used up spots that were originally for police vehicles but defended himself saying it will allow him to get in and out of the building faster.

This is a clear abuse of power but I have to say that I respect it. He's the mayor and he's going to do whatever the hell he wants. If somebody's going to give him a ticket then he's going to make his own parking spot. I can only see this going much worse from here. He's going to realize that he's been wasting his powers and start swapping out handicap spots with "mayor only" parking spots all over town. At least that's what I would do because fuck everybody else, they're not the mayor.
