For some parents, having a gay child is tougher than for others. For Hong Kong billionaire Cecil Chao it's downright impossible. That's why Chao is offering up $65 million to any man who can win his lesbian daughter over and marry her, even though his daughter, Gigi Chao, married her longtime partner in France. I'm not sure if Cecil understands that his daughter can't marry more than one person at a time or if he believes that money can solve all of the world's dilemmas, he just wants her to marry the opposite sex. He doesn't care if the man is rich or poor, he just wants somebody who would be good to his daughter.

I would gladly take up that offer but I don't think there's any man who can woo Cecil's daughter now that he offered up a bounty to the public. Any girl is going to rebel against her parents, now she has every reason in the world to. That's not even my main concern with this; why does he have such a problem with Gigi's girlfriend? At first glance she looks more manly than a lot of the Asian guys I've seen, and a second glance confirms it. If Gigi came up to me and introduced her girlfriend as a guy, I would believe her. Cecil should be happy that his daughter chose somebody who's classy instead of a lesbian that looks like a lumberjack.
