I make jokes continuously about how kids today aren't allowed to do anything outside. All it takes is one kid to fall and hurt himself in a neighborhood and parents start locking their children up in padded rooms. Tammy Cooper is a pioneer though, a proud Texas woman who believes in her children being allowed to ride their scooters in their cul de sac. Unfortunately for her, some people don't believe in that type of world. That's why she is suing the La Porte Police Department after they arrested her for child endangerment, all for letting her kids play outside. Police arrested Cooper after a neighbor called informing them that the children were playing outside unsupervised.

First things first, the day my neighbor calls the police on me for letting my children play outside would be the day that their house burns down. Now kids can't even legally play outside without supervision? How about we let kids be kids and have some fun for once? Letting kids play outside is nature's selection at who makes it to puberty. Some kids come home, some don't, that's the way of things. Keeping them inside is only going to lead to them getting fat and being beaten up by the kid whose parents let him play outside. It's like America wants its youth to grow up to be weird and overweight.
