The TSA has been known for doing things that consistently have them featured in the news, and never for anything good. The latest is a former priest they hired after the attacks on September 11, 2001. The TSA needed agents right away without any time for background checks, and it turns out that one of the people they hired was a former priest accused of molesting young girls. This is somebody who may be in charge of administering pat downs to young boys, but the TSA has yet to fire him. In fact they've promoted him so that he won't be responsible for any more pat downs, instead overseeing checked baggage.

I could understand the need for agents immediately after 9/11 but it's 2012, a child molester shouldn't still be working for the TSA (or anybody for that matter) this late in the game. I know you're not supposed to profile either, but I would be leery of any former priest. My assumption is that priests are priests until the day they die, if they were fired from their job for some reason, odds are it's because they touched a kid. This isn't just me attacking religion, these are my observations on priests over the past decade. If you want somebody inappropriately touching kids during pat downs then you hire a priest. It's only common sense.
